A wet week with decreasing temps. Rain on 4 days totaling 1.54". The first month in a while with above normal rainfall. 4.57" compared to the May average of 3.64". Not that I keep temp records but what a crazy month. A little over a week ago there were 2 days in the 90's, and this morning the last day of May it was down near 60° in the house, and I just turned the heat pump on. But no snow here. Garden is mostly planted but waiting on the winter and summer squash to germinate. Bird observation in my yard tells me there are less Robins and more Cardinals in my neighborhood. Wonder if some Robins didn't make it thru last winter.
