No rainfall this week 36%, 41%, 64%  of normal for monthly, calender year and water year respectively. Hot, dry winds are stressing vegetation and top soil moisture is being depleted rapidly. Grass looks pretty good, but it isn't. Possibilities of a good hay crop are fading. Trees have finished leafing out completely the past week. Waterfowl, game birds, and dicky birds are nesting. Trail Creek, Spring Creek, and Eagle Creek started running again after rains of 10 days ago. Trying again to get a lawn started on sorry soil around the house. Been trying 25 years.Maybe this is the year.
