We have received measurable rainfall every day now for 7 days so at present I would say we are mildly wet though I am sure the soil is not wet several inches below the surface. Streams are full and rushing. Plant foliage is very green and there has been a spurt in leaving out of shrubs and plants. A northern water snake was seen. in my front yard perhaps avoiding the rushing water near the local stream or trying to warm up though there has been very little sunshine over the past 7 days! Mushrooms are popping up and I suspect fungal disease on shrubs and plants will become evident soon as the temps warm and sunshine finds it's way to our locale.
