Rain earlier this month is 0.55" which is 188% of normal for May, and water year to date is 11.42" which is considered 85% of NOAA normal. Mostly all the land has dried out and turned California golden brown. City water has been used to maintain trees and garden plants. Cherry tomatoes have been harvested all month and are nearing their end stages before drying out. Marine stratus clouds have persisted almost all-day keeping temperatures on the cool side now for at least three weeks. The beaches are lucky to get any sunshine this time of year.
