We had rain! Almost 3" this week, putting us above normal for the month, but barely average for the year. Everything is green and growing fast right now, and fire is not a concern; plus the next week is expected to continue stormy. Lake levels are pretty well full (except Travis) and so supply is good. My garden is producing beans and peppers and tomatoes -- and flowers generally are thriving. It's a change from earlier this year! (I do want to mention that nearby areas --within ten miles -- have gotten probably double my rainfall this week, but no flooding has been reported here.)
