They don't like the American Goldfinches and watched the Orioles chase them away this week while working on the shoreline. The young eagle has a hunting / fishing partner with actual white on it's head (could be a parent) and saw 3 together as I took my 1st cruise on the river. Plenty of deer. What are missing this week are now rabbits, squirrels and chipmunks, none in sight and wondering if the eagles are getting them-----PLANTS: perennials continue flourish and some starting to bud flowers and they are on the verge of opening. Leaves this week on bushes and trees----- TOURISM: The RV's are out and traveling along Highway N and saw just 2 I noticed just this week while working outside. Boats around 5.----- BUSINESS: Construction, utility, logging, HVAC, Cement trucks but No farming machinery moving through. Road busy again this week. ----- Overall a cooler than "normal" week, dry too with wind, wind and wind ----- That's all I have. Have a great week everyone.
