Very warm the first half of the week before cooling some. Winds were also lighter the first half of the week before increasing the second half of the week. The high of the week was 85° on Monday and Tuesday. The low of the week was 39° on Monday. No precipitation fell last week. With the increase in winds at the end of the week, the fire danger also increased and a red flag warning on Sunday, 5/17. No change in plant life though everything is very dry in the surrounding wildland areas. A lot of birds continue to frequent the garden and saw the Bullock's Oriole again. Also, saw a garter snake in the pond.
