perennials are slow starting. Wind is horrible and blowing dust affects my sinuses. Tulips didn't last as long. Many dead areas on the lawn from dryness - been too cold to hook up hoses. Huge 1200 acre fire north of here on Sat/Sun - just north of the Cuyunna Rec Area - an active tourist spot.
