Florida’s West Central Gulf of America area remains very, very dry—it’s been a long time since we’ve had a good rainfall. This past week brought us only 0.44” of rain spread over two days. Most of our area remain under severe water use restrictions with lawn watering being restricted to only a few hours on one specific day. The restrictions are being enforced by city and county “water police”—and there are no warnings—even first time offenders will be fined heavily. Tourist/visitor activity continues at a high rate, making local businesses happy.
