Mowed for the first time this year yesterday, May 17. Still many parts of the yard too wet to mow, several other yards in the area still haven't been mowed. Standing water is still common and the ground still wrings water as you walk on it towards the weather station. 

The spring has been unusually wet, 14.45" of precipitation since March 1, and groundwater conditions are similar to what we expect in early April following the snowmelt.
