There is no standing water in the usual places (photo to follow). The soil feels damp. We live on a sandy floodplain and some of the sandier areas feels dry (it's harder to pull weed [bittersweet] roots out in some places). The Batten Kill River is flowing normally (wish we had a stream gauge! - not too high, fisherman are wading.
