Rain on three days in a row dropping 1.13". This brings the monthly total to 2.97" at the just over halfway point. The NOAA normal is 2.00 so the first start of a wet month in quite a while.  No garden planting this past week with the rain and cold, but the potatoes did start popping thru the soil. Friday I purchased tomato, peppers and basil.  They will be in the ground by weeks end. Hummingbirds are showing up more often with sometimes two having a little battle over the feeder. Everything is lush green and springlike with some of the last trees now leafing out.
