Spring has been cold and moderately moist.  We’ve had rain for half of May.  Grass has greened up nicely and trees are blooming right on time.  Flowering trees are blooming but lack in bright colors.  Deer aren’t fussy, they eat everything as usual.  Noticed they are eating things they normally don’t.  Damage done to holly bushes and azaleas.  They even ate daffodils which they have never before. Our last snow pile melted in late April so wildlife is catching up after being unable to graze and feed normally all Winter.  Bird migration later than usual this year.
