We've had several days of rain that helped the severe drought we've been in but I'd say we're still mildly dry as 2.50" of rain doesn't go very far when the past 4 months have been bone dry.  Just a couple weeks to go before tourist season. Locals just can't catch a breather to enjoy where they live. Seeing horrible cases of mange in foxes and coyotes. Bird and squirrel populations doing great. Large # of resident Osprey sighted, and more than one pair of Bald Eagles in the area!  I hear this may be a Super El Nino year with possibility of more storm generation closer to home and a wet summer.
