Since 1/1/26, this location has received barely over an inch of precip.  The average precip. for this same ~4 month time period in Grand Junction is close to 3 inches.  In addition to dry vegetation in non-irrigated areas, a bear has been inhabiting our neighborhood lately due to lack of edible forage in nearby wildlands.
