Precipitation for the week 0.33", half of which was heavy drizzle from the very thick marine layer that has brought "May gray" to the skies.  ETo way down to 0.14" due to the dark, cold sky.  Average high was 59.7f, low 50.3f.  Ruth Lake Reservoir holding at 101% capacity.  Mad River and Eel still slowly lowering with lack of rainfall, but inland rivers showing some warming in their temperatures, but still cold.  Cal Fire to do prescribed burning in Mendocino County this week at Shamrock Ranch near Laytonville, 300 acres worth.  Arcata's year-round Farmer's Market beginning to show more selection with its offerings.  Not many new bird sightings, as cold days are probably hindering production of bug food sources.
