Just a trace of rain this week, which just wet the landscape a bit. No impact on the ground water level. Most of the week saw overcast, marine layer conditions and some brisk gusty winds. Ocean conditions were rough for most of the week. The farmer's markets have opened for the season, though the pickings are slim this early in the year. Happy to see a larger number of California Quail in the gardens this year. Previous years we've seen a couple or none. The area was very busy with tourists and family visiting for Mother's Day weekend.
