Conditions are still a bit on the dry side but improving. We had 1.19” of rainfall this week and have had 1.59” in the past two weeks. Soil moisture and stream flows are lower than normal but not extremely low for this time of year. Plant and crop growth is good but a little lower than expected probably due to cooler temperatures and not lack of moisture. We’ve had several mornings with lows in the lower 40sF and one day this week the high was only 53F. There has been a few hay fields being cut and baled now and pastures are green and growing. Fire danger is low.
