General: I've changed my rating to severely dry, based on the NWS stats for Eastern Idaho. I was using my SD as indicator of degree of dryness, and perhaps should have used .5 SD. At any rate, it's dry with no relief in sight.
Agriculture: At risk, for sure. Crops are definitely coming up (recognize one as a grain, maybe also alfalfa). Without rain it's going to be a tough go.
Energy: Lots of energy being produced: 98.36 kWHR yesterday produced, 33.91 kWHR used. Today will likely need to switch heat pump output to cooling.
Fire: High risk.
Plants Wildlife: More birds arriving, and more variety. Wrens are the most hopeful birds in the world, I think.
Water: Pushing into dire, I'd say. The creek is still running, but we're bone dry. The creek is still running, which is good news.
