No rain this week, no change in conditions, especially with drying winds.  In the foothills a few Prickly Pear Cactuses, Creosote Bushes, and Mesquites are in bloom in less dry spots, but most are not, and there are a few herbaceous perennials flowering.  Spring migrant and summer bird species are continuing to arrive.  Creek is still dry in this location.
