This early part of May has started as a typical Spring, aside from a quick couple day dip from the upper 70’s into the low 30’s, which included a Freeze advisory. No Rain yet, but the late April saturation helped so many things blossom. The trees showed the greatest benefit with them looking full with leaves and flowering trees have burst into color. I’m grateful my Maple is an off year for “helicopters”, since last year I filled a 96- gallon compost container with a bumper crop. Grass gas grown in lush and think, but so have the dandelions. A never-ending battle. Shrubs are also greening up nicely. Area lakes appear to be at normal levels.
Forecast: Temps warming to the upper 70’s, skies mostly Sunny increasing to mostly Cloudy and Showers towards the end of the week.
