Conditions are "near normal" but there hasn't been much rain at all lately.  That combined with dry air and gusty winds have created a wildfire danger in this area.  Luckily and such fires have so far not been very large.  Otherwise plants and grass are all looking healthy and bright green.  Most trees have budded out with many now approaching fully leafed out.  On the ponds Canada Geese have their new youngsters out and about.  Local streams are either at barely normal or below normal flows.
