Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: MI-BN-28
Station Name: Baroda 1.3 W
Report Date: 5/10/2026
Submitted: 5/10/2026 7:08 AM
Scale Bar: Mildly Wet
Description:
Conditions as of this writing are mildly wet. Although the property is finally free of standing water, mowing yesterday revealed numerous areas of soft and wet soils. Speaking of lawns, the grass is lush, green, and in need of mowing at tiring intervals. Most trees are now leafed out creating a much greener landscape. Rain activity continues to decrease with 0.45 inches of precipitation dropping all week and this has generated hope that our rainy pattern has finally broken. Area drainage ditches are now more mud than water, and Hickory Creek is a little lower than last week. Temperatures were relatively cool but only flirted with frost. An indigo bunging and rose-breasted grosbeak visited the bird feeder this past week. Outdoor recreational activity is vibrant, including youth sports. Agriculture activity is also picking up. The Bridgman open air market is now open for the season. Other than being a bit cooler than normal, it is looking, sounding, and smelling like mid-spring.
