Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: OK-TL-53
Station Name: Tulsa 1.4 S
Report Date: 5/9/2026
Submitted: 5/09/2026 11:34 PM
Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
Cooler than normal this week. Grazed by a thunderstorm late Monday night but had a very nice 0.59" late Friday afternoon with some brief small hail. In spite of that, the ground remains firm with no runoff or ponding so went with "Near Normal." Very good week for outdoor work.

23 HDDs, 13 CDDs for the week. Having to switch HVAC between heat and cool rather frequently. Mowed the lawn closer to normal for this time of year (2 1/4 for bermuda, 2 3/4 for fescue) to help tame the broadleaf weeds and encourage the bermuda to get going. All other plants looking very good. Roses blooming like crazy! Tomatoes, peppers and new rose planted last week doing great.

Local streams and ponds up only a little following Friday night rain. Major lakes in the region mostly above normal. Rivers mostly still up but receding from the rain.
