The first half of the week was windy and lots of rain. Then the weather calmed a bit. We actually got some sun with cloud for a few days. Then, more rain. The grass is awake and growling rapidly. The deer are taking full advantage and coming by the four's and six's every day. The Robbins are right behind them. The song birds are busy with nesting and chirping. No Woodpeckers yet. Many trees are showing buds. The NS burn Ban map shows All Green. Rd work continues on Peggy's Cove Rd. New heavy guard rails being installed on the water side. Much needed. Some traffic lines due to stop and go. No tourism buses yet. Happy Mother's Day weekend!
