Very dry for this time of year. Poor germination rates for my early garden vegetables. We had a bit over an inch of rain last week divided over several days so soil moisture is not too bad but still only about a quarter of normal for the month, and not nearly enough to start recharging ground water levels. Pasture grass is still not growing very much. I did some mowing in the yard yesterday and the dust was choking.
