An active weather pattern continued this week with multiple rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms and moderate to heavy rainfall. This rainfall has greatly improved our soil moisture and also our seven day Storm Total precipitation for this week 1.38" inches. Next, our wildflowers have finally started blooming in our pollinators garden we set up last year, and our hope is for many more flowers to bloom soon. Also our two rose bushes we planted are blooming as well. Lastly, area wildlife have been very active with multiple sightings of various bird species, and we have also had multiple sightings of various flying insects including: bees, wasps, butterflies, and mosquitoes.
