We have had a break in the drought, and the flora and fauna love it here in San Antonio. The mild winter of '25-'26 has contributed too to the explosive growth of life. So far we've received 13.43" of blessed rain for the year. We're 5.52" ABOVE normal for this date. Since we live off the Edwards Aquifer however, we won't get relief from current, Stage Three restrictions until significant improvement in ithe aquifer's level, which is currently 635' above sea level. It's down about 35 ' from normal.
