1.93" of rain so far for April. According to CoCoRaHS Data Explorer this is 58% of normal for the month. Pasture grasses are greening as they do in April, but grass leaves are not filling out and appear slightly wilted. Even drought tolerant fescue is not growing at its normal rate for this time of year. Brome grasses and orchard grass appear slightly gray. Our two perennial streams are running more shallow than usual for April. Pasture forbes are not growing as they usually do in early spring. Bare soil is cracked.
