Local weather reporting shows our location to be on the border of a "severely" and "moderately" dry area.  The weather is cooler, ozone decreased and the scant precipitation has not progressed us far.  Still watering
garden daily, eyeing some trees for culling due to fire danger and proximity to the house. A second mushroom appeared, but didn't last long as deer and squirrels like to eat certain varieties.
