Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: KY-BE-9
Station Name: Jackson 1.9 SSE
Report Date: 4/26/2026
Submitted: 4/26/2026 9:07 AM
Scale Bar: Moderately Dry
Description:
Not sure I should have gone moderately dry because I felt that might be a little misleading. But it has been abnormally dry for this time of spring. Normally I have to cut the grass twice a week in April, which obviously hasn’t been the case. But we still seem to be getting just enough rain that the grass is green and continues to grow, though slowly. Actually, everything is a nice green color. The ground isn’t super hard as it gets when real dry either, but it isn’t so soft that it’s easy to till and plant like it would be otherwise. As I was planting strawberries this past couple of days, it was still relatively moist and not dried out below the surface as I was digging…or at least as dried out as I expected.
