Once again the ground is very dry, the driveway dusty when cars go by. When pulling a weed from the ground only dry dirt is around the roots. The grass continues to be green, the lilacs, peopnies and blueberries are flowering. The apple trees have fewer flowers than usual, but that may be due to the trimming of the cicadas last summer. The greens in the garden need frequent watering. The wind dries the soil out. The creeks are barely flowing.
