0.36” rain this week.  Creeks & ponds low. Ground still dry, but trees keep leafing out. Borderline between Mild & Moderately dry.  Fields being worked.  4/17 we had visits from out first hummingbirds of the season.  Once they start, it's a hundred times a day.   Prairie warbler's song rising from the woods for the first time this season.  First lightning bugs of the year.  Turkeys calling all day, deer moving at dusk.
