Scale Bar: Mildly Wet
Description:
For week of 12-18 Apr: (3.0+ 0+ 9.0+ 17.4+ 2.0+ 5.0+ 0)= 36.4mm, Mildly Wet. High's: +7C to +15C; Low's: +8C to -3C; Wind: Mostly calm, 1 gusty day with chilly NW wind to 41km/hr; Frost: 1 very light frost. It was a damp, grey week with drizzle, mist, high fog and perpetual overcast. Thurs night into very early Fri AM, a wicked thunder/lightning storm. Only 5mm of rain, but crazy lightning. Power went out for a few hrs. Continued overcast. Song birds are gracing me with their twittering each morning. Young deer are coming through, devouring new grass. Many birds coming behind to get to the worms. Male Pheasants are noisy. Evening Peepers have begun their very loud chorus. You can't even hear yourself talk when they're vocal. Still too cool for any gardening. No fire restrictions, so burning of yard debris is permitted. Tourism traffic has not begun yet. Price of fuel could be an issue. $1.78/L for Reg. Hope that trickles down at some point.
