Very limited precipitation thus far has resulted in very dry landscaping conditions. Azalea blooms were not as vivid as in other seasons. Lawn is green but dry conditions have resulted in more weed growth than actual centipede. Soil is very dry and dusty. Some reptiles observed, but amphibians less prevalent than last year. Landscaping not stressed, but may have to spot water more than past April's. Burn bans have been observed. Trees are fully greened out, pollen beginning to end. Only one day of rainfall for the first 15 days of April, following a 19 day dry spell in March at this reporting station. Very mild weather since mid Feb, only two severe weather watches of note, with no severe storms at this station
