Agriculture: Calving season continues.
Energy: Chilly days we used the wood heater.

Plants & Wildlife: Pussy willows and buds are on the trees.
Wildlife: Black bears, Grizzlies and cougars are on the move in, search of food, western parts of the County.
Birds at feeders and birdbaths: 4 Blue jays, Chickadees - 4 black-capped; 4 Juncos; Nuthatches - white-breasted and rose-breasted; 1 Redpoll; Woodpeckers - 1 Downy, 1 Hairy, 1 Northern flicker; a flock of House Sparrows; 1 golden-Crowned Sparrow; 3 Magpies. Other birds in the yard/nearby - 4 robins; falcons; 2 hawks, 4 pigeons; 2 ravens; 4 starlings; 1 Pileated woodpecker.
Birds seen while out driving: flocks of Canada geese, Swans, and ducks; 2 flocks of starlings, 8 hawks, 12 crows; 5 Magpies; 5 ravens; 1 flock of snow birds.
Society & Public Health: Neighbors are pleased with the warm weather.
