Station Number: FL-ES-24
Station Name: Pensacola 18.9 WSW
Report Date: 4/13/2026
Submitted: 4/13/2026 12:12 PM
Scale Bar: Moderately Dry
Description:
Some rain last week but certainly not enough. The past few months have only seen about ~1.30 inches of rain per month. With things already heating up, it's promising to be another long hot dry summer. Also calling for a Super El Nino year. Tourists are already here and school isn't even finished yet. Spring break seems to bleed right into Summer break. Only 1 maybe 2 quiet months here now. Plenty of birds and squirrels this year. Live oaks have just about finished dropping their leaves. The water oaks have already put on their new leaves. Magnolias are getting their blooms on. Azaleas look sickly this year but they did flower quite well.
