Another good rain of .78 inches over the weekend. That's 3.92 for April, very near normal for this month. Our YTD is 8.32 inches which I believe would put us only about 2 inches below normal, again YTD. My soil is very damp and has soaked in well this month. Plants are normal and grasses are growing fast. Birds and wildlife are doing well. Area lakes are good at 75% or better. A few of the smaller lakes are much lower, but the major lakes in North Texas are in good shape mostly at 86% plus.
