Almost one inch of rain this week gave some relief to abnormally dry conditions in this area. Flower beds have adequate moisture and the landscape is lush green.  Mayhaw fruit are beginning to ripen and mulberry trees have been producing for several weeks.  Wild dewberries are the best size they’ve been in years probably due to timely rainfall. Fog began to form Friday morning and burned off by 9:00 am.
