Recent rains have helped pastures, but full bloom wildflowers nor seen. Too little too late for some wildflowers. Due to March 17 freeze, many vegetables must be replanted. New leaf and flowers in citrus lost in freeze.  New growth on red bud and crape myrtle lost in freeze now recovering.  Due to lack of pollen and nectar sours, must supplement feed honey bees.  Milkweed blooming. 
Burn Ban remains, although it may be lifted due to recent rains. People here love to set fire to stuff, Bastrop, the combustible county. Additional(5,000gal) rain water harvesting tanks now all full. Total 10,000 gal.
