Spent yesterday watering the pasture. Will water the field and fruit trees across the road today. I'm worried our well will run dry before the end of summer. If the farmers have their irrigation water cut back, we won't have recharge to our alluvial aquifer from the nearby ditch. We're starting fire mitigation around the house by removing several dead aspen trees. I'm replacing wood chip mulch with pea gravel as soon as I can. I won't be planting any new perennials this season and I'm debating how much vegetable garden to plan.
