Station Number: OK-PH-1
Station Name: Antlers 6.3 SE
Report Date: 4/4/2026
Submitted: 4/04/2026 12:57 PM
Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
Showers and thunderstorms returned to our area this week and resulted in a very beneficial 2.50" inches of rain. This rainfall has greatly improved our soil moisture, however we still have a deficit of rainfall for my station so additional rainfall is needed to completely get rid a our drought conditions. Next, our lawn is growing very well with a lot grass mixed with a few wildflowers and even white clovers too. Our trees are doing well, and to my surprise our Dunstan Chestnut trees are coming back from the root of the trees, and our Brown Turkey Figs have came back this year too. Also our Kieffer Pear Tree has leafed out completely, and our Eastern Redbud trees are very healthy at this time too. Lastly, area wildlife have been active with multiple sightings of various different bird species, multiple sightings of honey bees, and bumblebees, and also multiple sightings of various other insect species including wasps and mosquitoes.
