The beginning of the week continued the abnormally dry weather pattern for this area.  Irrigation is taking up more time in the mornings than usual.  Some areas of the landscape are on automatic watering cycles, but the mixed-sized flower pots are easier watered by hand as some would get overwatered.  By the end of the week, we received a good shower to refresh the dry landscape.   The roadside of the recent construction zone on the highway has just about turned solid green with the hydra-seeded clover and Bermuda grass seedlings spread everywhere.  The area received two timely rains after seeding which promoted germination.  The lawn is growing well and weekly mowing has begun.
