A few rainy days this past week provided a 1.89" total.  The soil is very workable though somewhat wet in lower areas of my yard. The rivers and streams are running higher than the past week.  Birds are busy nesting, insects are active in the gardens, and bees have found the opened Crocus. The lawns are noticeably greener over this past week and buds are present on shrubs and trees. Spring Peepers noted on the 1st, right on schedule!
