With a total of 3.00" of precip over the week it seems safe to say that the soil has reached a moderately wet condition. Area waterways are bank full and on the rise. Luckily most of the rain was gradual enough to limit runoff, so deeper soil should be pretty well saturated. Trees are budding out a lot more and area lawns are greener by the day. Birds are singing quite a bit and geese are getting ready to nest from the looks of it. So far it appears that we're off to a good start for the planting season. Only time will tell.
