Snowpack had over 7" of moisture yesterday. Depth down to 18" of crunchy grains this morning. Precip for March 3.87", year to date, water year all above normal. 43.6" of snow in March.
Grackles, robins, juncos have arrived. Junco and chickadees singing. A few geese flying over. Deer have not yet returned to my area. Roadkills increasing on US 2 where there is a little grass/weeds showing along edge.
Secondary road have been a mess. Snow and ice gone off where sunshine hits.
Not much economic traffic except delivery trucks. Probably the quietest time of year for visitors.
No Kings was cold, below 30, wind whipping off Lake.
Radishes, lettuce, spinach, now peas all growing in greenhouse. Needs a little heat at night.
