10cm of snow over this past week, with a forecast of a possible +10cm with a forecasted Colorado low over the next few days. Freeze/thaw cycle over the week, with new snow melting on roadways, sidewalks and decks, but there is still 100% ground coverage over open areas. Snow pack is still 12” deep (30cm) over open areas, higher than the climate normal of 10cm for the end of March. Walking is icy and hazardous. Last weekend for the downhill ski club. Nordic trails are still open, and reported as fast. Still no appearance by the gulls yet. This has been a long, cold, snowy spring.
