Locally we have had over 2" of rain in the last 2 1/2 weeks so the surface soil conditions are pretty good, even a bit wet in places I got my early garden planting done in the last week but had to wait several days because the garden location was still wet and sticky in places. Long term we are still in a drought, with rainfall since the middle of last August less than half of normal amounts. Ponds and stream flows are low with very little runoff when rain does fall.
