Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: CO-BO-596
Station Name: Boulder 1.9 SE
Report Date: 3/29/2026
Submitted: 3/29/2026 7:45 PM
Scale Bar: Severely Dry
Description:
We’ve received 0.86” to date in March, 55% of normal. We’re at 1.69” for the calendar year to date, 56% of normal. We’re at 3.17” for the water year to date, 53% of normal. We’ve had month after month of low precipitation, much higher than average temperatures, and wind.

Surrounding areas are issuing watering restrictions. I’m not sure why Boulder hasn’t—people are starting to water their trashed lawns, and they aren’t being careful (watering midday, water in gutters, etc). Flowers in yards are blooming way early. Flowers in wild areas are either early early or reduced. Everything looks crispy.
