No rain this week, no significant change in conditions.  More stretches of the creek are dry.  Fire is a concern with windy weather.  I saw no wildflowers on a two-mile walk in the foothills yesterday; mature trees continuing to die in this area.  Bird life in the yard seems normal for this month.
